As an engagement manager at Safal Partners, I led data-driven education projects that support learning and teaching improvement across various contexts and stakeholders. With a PhD in education research and over seven years of experience in program evaluation, research design, and data analysis, I have the skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results that inform policy and practice.Some of the projects I have managed include analyzing the funding and career outcomes of Institute for Education Sciences (IES) fellowships and programs, evaluating the COVID Relief Instructional Materials Support Initiative (CRIMSI) for the Texas Education Agency, and assessing the public comments for the proposed Next Generation Science Standards for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP). I use tools such as SPSS, Advanced Excel. and NVivo to conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis, and I communicate the findings and recommendations effectively to various audiences, from experts to novices.I am passionate about leveraging data and research to enhance learning and teaching outcomes, and I enjoy collaborating with diverse teams and clients to achieve this goal. I have also developed cross-cultural competence and acumen through my international education and work experience in the U.S. and China. I am fluent in English and Mandarin, and I have a proven record of outstanding oral and written communication skills. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new challenges in the education sector.
