About Danielle Wade

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with twenty years of experience working as a nurse in healthcare. I began my journey as a registered nurse working in the field of women’s health. I later earned my degree as a Master’s Prepared Nurse, specializing in nursing education as I began my passion for educating future nurses. I then continued my education to obtain a Post-Masters in Advanced Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Maryville University. During my time working as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I have been privileged to work in an array of clinical settings with several outstanding Psychiatrists within my community. I have trained and worked in the areas of child/adolescent psychiatry, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, adult inpatient psychiatry, and psychiatric urgent care services. I have also continued my passion for education by regularly teaching Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner students. I strongly support the combined approach of psychotherapy, alternative medicine, and psychotropics in treating psychiatric disorders.
