About Danielle West

Hardworking and dedicated Business Administration and Marketing graduate with over 15 years of customer service experience who is looking for new challenges and opportunities. I have spent almost my entire career working in some form of customer service or another. From retail to sales to technical support, I have spent my time learning what it means to make customers happy. As important and rewarding as that is, I decided it was time to grow professionally, so I enrolled in the Business Administration program at NSCC. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made. In my second year, I chose to enter the marketing concentration, where I am gained skills and knowledge in areas such as marketing research, integrated marketing communication, supply chain management, and sales techniques, strategic internet marketing, and marketing management. I also took courses that would round out my business education, such as business law, computerized accounting, project management, and a full course on the wine industry of Nova Soctia. During my time at NSCC, I took on the role of Students in Style and Food Bank Coordinator with the NSCC Kingstec Students Association. Students in Style clothing bank is a service providing gently worn business/work attire for students at NSCC Kingstec. In this position, I was responsible for keeping the clothing and food banks stocked and organized, as well as accessible to students. I also installed a changing area so that students would be able to try things on before they take them. At the end of my term as coordinator, I other members of the student association in rebranding this space at the Kingstec Free Market.
