About Danilo Ainardi

My name is Danilo Ainardi, and I hold a degree in Economics and Business Management with a specialization in Industrial investments from a First-Level institution. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence and have acquired extensive knowledge and skills in various areas of expertise. In terms of my education, I completed a degree thesis on industrial investments, focusing on the case of Indesit Company. Additionally, I have actively pursued professional development through numerous training courses. I have undergone training with the Porsche Consulting Academy in "Lean manufacturing" and "Train the trainers," as well as courses on work cycle and methods, value analysis, statistics, problem-solving, cost accounting, negotiation, and more. I have also attended training programs on good finance practices and lean production at renowned institutions such as Galgano & C. and The American Business School Paris. My professional experience spans over several years, beginning in 1988 when I joined Indesit Company (formerly Merloni Elettrodomestici). Initially, I worked at Alstom Transport as a Costing Manager, where I validated industrial costs, contributed to product development activities, and ensured consistency with contract targets. My tenure at AleniaAermacchi from 2010 to 2015 as the Head of Labor Analysis & Continuous Improvement further enhanced my expertise. I led a team of 18 professionals across multiple sites and implemented the AleniaAermacchi Production System in collaboration with Porsche Consulting. I was responsible for work analysis, cost reduction initiatives, lean production, and make or buy activities. Following this, I joined PiaggioAerospace as the Head of Industrial Control - Planning & Continuous Improvement from February 2015 to September 2017. In this role, I oversaw budgeting, cost and investment management, production planning, and control. Since September 2017, I have been employed at APR Srl, an aerospace company, as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Reporting directly to the CEO, Apart from my professional experience, I possess excellent linguistic skills in both written and oral English. I have also attended yearly courses with native English teachers to refine my language abilities. Furthermore, I have a good command of Spanish at a university level. In terms of technical skills, I am proficient in various software applications, including SAP R/3 Pro, Windows XP, Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Internet Applications, Project PDM Matrix One, and more.
