About Danilo Auler

Currently, as South America Executive Engineering Manager at Nemak leading 40 managers and engineers, I have 20 years of experience as an Engineering leader in Italian, American and Mexican multinational companies in the Aluminum Casting Auto Parts sector (Blocks, Heads and Transmissions) with know-how in Semi-Permanent Mold, High Pressure Die Casting and Machining processes. I have worked in the United States for 5 years with the mission to build up the Engineering department of the Tennessee site. I highlight the following accomplishments in the scope of my career: Participation in the organization's strategic decisions, negotiations with clients and suppliers, interface with Global R&D Centers, benchmarking with global sites and development of high performance teams. I have solid experience in project management with PMP certification, having developed new programs for GM, Ford, Fiat-Jeep, Volkswagen, Renault, Peugeot-Citroën and Hyundai clients. Senior in managing and solving complex problems, I have mastery of maintaining performance under pressure since I have always worked in the “Just in Time” supply mode. Fluent in English, I'm a Mechanical Engineer graduated from UFMG (Federal University of Minas Gerais State) with an MBA from FDC/MG (Fundação Dom Cabral) and several certificates in leadership and management.
