About Danilo Castrechini

Computer science and writing have always been my passions. In 2008 I obtained a 1st level degree in Computer Engineering. In 2009 I started working at Geosystems as a Java developer. This experience consolidated all the knowledge learned during my studies and introduced me to many aspects of the world of work. In 2010, and for the following three years, I worked in Gebsoftware as a consultant at the Ministry of the Environment. I specialize a lot in the use of CMS and in the role of Frontend Developer. In 2014 I carried out various jobs as a private individual, making use of all my experience acquired up to that point. I collaborate with some clients (BNR) and various newspapers (L'Indro). Also in 2014 I published my first book Vaniglia. Over these years I have been lucky enough to learn a lot, acquiring new hard skills but also (and above all) soft skills. Sometimes speaking in the right way to a customer, or using the right balance between education and firmness with a manager, to make one's idea count, can be a fundamental quality, as much as technical preparation. In 2015 I started working at BC Soft as a consultant at the Court of Auditors. Here by a strange coincidence of life, I learn new skills that were completely foreign to me until then. I'm starting to learn about Photoshop, Illustrator, Muse, Dreamweaver and more from the Adobe CC suite. And I like! From 2016 until today I have always tried to improve the many skills acquired in the Graphic Design field, with moderate success in some cases. In the last two years I have greatly consolidated my background as a UX/UI Designer, Motion Designer and Video Maker, I am also starting to acquire skills in Social Media, Marketing and Project Management. In 2019 I published my second book Momenti and in 2022 the third Sfumature di parole. If there is a secret, I believe it is always putting passion and heart into it, everything else is a consequence!
