About Danilo Giordano

In general, my research interests are related to data analysis in different fields from network measurements data, to the automotive field, and the car sharing transport means. In particular, I am interested in the application of datamining algorithms in small and big data environment like Apache Spark to characterize the data, extract patterns, or highlight anomalies. In particular, a first branch of my current research activity addresses the problems of characterizing the users' habits on the web to track users over time. The second branch of my research address the problem of predictive maintenance in diesel car engine. The last branch of my interests focuses on characterizing the car sharing usage and propose future development of this mobility solution. In particular, the idea is to migrate all cars of a real car sharing system from combustion engine cars to electric vehicles.
