About Danilo Rodolfa

I am currently working as a Transportation/Civil Analyst with experience in traffic modeling using Synchro and Vissim and signing and striping plans using Autodesk Civil 3D. I have 7 years of experience as a Civil Engineer in the Philippines. In my role as Civil Engineer, I was responsible for the supervision of Road Projects making sure that they were constructed in accordance to the Plans and Specifications. I was also responsible for the monitoring and inspection of these Road Projects, as well as authoring the corresponding final reports. I also had some experience in traffic engineering for a year. I designed and supervised several traffic surveys, prepared technical reports such as Traffic Studies and Impact Assessments from the gathered data and presented the reports to the clients. I recently moved to the USA and while I was waiting for my authorization to work, I enrolled in a few online courses on Coursera to further my studies. I obtained a specialization in Data Science using Python 3. I am fluent in English and Tagalog. I applied for a job in Customer Service for a US-based bank so that I could enrich my conversational English. It involved interpersonal skills such as dealing with people regarding their financial and card issues, analyzing their problems at hand and researching information and reaching solutions in a very short amount of time under pressure. It was a job meant to be temporary and I ended my employment so that I could focus on studying for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam and apply for certification to become an Engineer-in-Training in Minnesota. I got my EIT certification in August 2021. All my previous job experiences dealt with customers and clients and I was able to develop some interpersonal skills while on the job. I would like to secure a career opportunity that utilizes my training and previous work experiences while making a significant contribution to the company.
