My life journey has gifted me a breadth and depth of learning and experience spanning the lands, waters and peoples of Canada, from coast to coast to coast. Leading, building, enhancing and managing relationships and engagement respectfully and honestly is central to work. This helps me to expertly guide and advise institutions strategically and authentically on their forever journeys of decolonization, Indigenization, and reconciliation with Indigeneity. HELPING INSTITUTIONS WELCOME & REFLECT INDIGENEITY My authenticity and expertise grows from proud Metis roots and depth of relations with of First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples from tens of communities across Canada. My Indigeneity and life journey enables me to always walk in two worlds, with authenticity, dignity and understanding in both the Indigenous and non-Indigenous worldviews. I have led and organized successful national, regional, and institutional programs, services, policies and studies for top global human capital risk management consultancy, provincial government, federal political organizations, and major Canadian institutions of higher learning. My graduate studies also specialize in institutional Indigenization, and as educator of Indigeneity in institutional settings. LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT LEADERSHIP Today I am with Concentra Trust and Equitable Bank as Director Indigenous Trusts and as Fellow of McLaughlin College of York University, serving as an alumni leader, advisor, contributor and knowledge source. This builds on my past service as President of Alumni Chapter, President of Student Council, as 2005 recipient of the Master's Award for Outstanding Contribution and 2022 Head of the College Fellow's Award. I have also recently worked at Public Health Ontario as Advisor Indigenous Strategy and Engagement building Indigenous cultural safety in Ontario. Also advising the University of Windsor 2018-21 TLC program and Odette School of Business as Chair of their Dean's FNMI Advisory Council.
