About Dannie Chen

I have 5 years experience working in backend and data science. In the last 4 years, I led a team of 3 engineers cooperating with security experts to build a scalable interactive incident triage system for 10K+ employees across the company which saves % of time to verify the potential risks. I designed and built an unsupervised learning pipeline on distributed system for the command line classifier which reduces % of storage volume and makes security analytics on 10B+ of logs possible. I built data pipelines for Splunk dashboards to visualize the comprehensive metrics of products. I built CI/CD pipelines with automatic testing, packaging and deployment and increased the unit test coverage to %. I developed a visual-based product recommendation system launched in retail companies. I was the first and second author of two technical papers which were selected as TALK (!) and POSTER respectively in Yahoo! Tech Pulse 2021.
