About Danny Araka

I am a board certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. Skilled in complex trauma surgery, pelvic and acetabular surgery, spine surgery, joint reconstruction, paediatric orthopaedics, shoulder and elbow surgery. I have experience in both the public and private health sector. Interested in research in my field, health investment, medical education, health service management and occupational health. Able to work in a multidisciplinary team to offer the best possible preventive, curative and rehabilitative services for muskuloskeletal conditions. Looking for opportunities to be mentored by seniors in my field and career advancement beyond my current achievements. I have a strong work ethic based on experience from my postgraduate training. I hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from the University of Nairobi. I am a Fellow of the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa in Orthopaedic Surgery. I am certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by Loma Linda University.
