About Danny Bouchard

Danny leads commercial and participate in business development engagement initiatives for the mining and metals sector in Eastern Canada region at Hatch Ltd. As a business and commercial manager, he is also actively involved in contract negotiation and preparation, as well as proposal development in Canada and abroad. Danny also leads the contarct and commercial management of a few mining and metals client on a global scale, and act as project sponsor on key projects linked to decarbonization initiatives. Danny cumulates over 20 years of experience in project, program, business and commercial management, serving both the aerospace and mining & metals industries globally. He has in-depth experience in negotiating and forming various EPCM and EPC contracts, as well as in the development of large proposals tailored to clients needs in the mining and metals, energy and infrastructure sectors. Danny is also currently actively involved in a large-scale industrial project linked to battery material in the province of Quebec. Prior to joining Hatch, Danny worked extensively in the product development field for both Bombardier Aerospace and the Boeing Company, the two biggest aircraft manufacturing companies in North America. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal and a MBA in management and finance from HEC Montréal. Danny is recognized by his peers as an emerging leader and a strong team player. He is fluent in both French and English, with a strong knowledge of Spanish.
