About Danny Chapman

My professional mission is to work with many of the most talented people our Navy has to offer to operate a multi-billion dollar submarine through various high-consequence mission areas. I am comfortable with learning complex new systems from the ground up, am well versed in developing and maintaining top-quality technical training and qualification programs, and am experienced in managing multi-disciplinary teams in limited-resource environments around the world. I have developed a strong background in both engineering and business practices in pursuit of optimizing our team's performance. In my current role as Engineer, I am charged with leading a department consisting of 60+ personnel responsible for a nuclear power and propulsion plant, electrical generation and distribution systems, and life support equipment.
