About Danny Chronopoulos

Danny is the Senior Relationship Manager of Corporate and Institutional Banking at the Bank of Sydney. This is after a successful term as Senior Relationship Manager (Commercial) and following a multi-decade career as a self-employed finance broker and franchise owner. Danny’s tenure in the finance industry commenced in 1987, initially for the Westpac Banking Corporation. In his first decade, he gained numerous awards including the coveted “The General Managers Excellence Award” in 1995. In 1997, Danny purchased his first Mortgage Choice franchise and was subsequently awarded “Franchisee of the Year”. Over the next decade, Danny worked diligently to expand his branch network and added multiple Mortgage Choice franchises across Sydney to his portfolio. This led to Danny being named “Business Person of the Year” in 2003, as nominated by his peers within the South West Region of Sydney. In 2005, Danny was again awarded “Franchisee of the Year (NSW/ACT)” at the Franchise Council Awards. Danny finally decided to exit his Mortgage Choice business and began another venture within the same industry he grew up in, founding and operated his own finance business in South-Western Sydney for the following 5 years. During this time, his hands-on approach continued for the many individuals and business owners relying on him for counsel, advice and guidance from his early days in Liverpool, many of whom, remain clients to this day with the Bank of Sydney. Danny is highly regarded within the industry and holds a diverse range of clients and relationships including; commercial, industrial and residential property investors, medium and large developers, financiers, lawyers, builders and first home buyers. Danny’s wealth of experience and professional friendly approach assists customers to find solutions to achieve their financial goals and insurance needs, with an equal level of respect and care regardless of the size of client. Danny also holds a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking, Diploma in Financial Planning and is an Associate Member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) as well being a Justice of the Peace. He is an active member of his local Cricket Team and the Greek Associate of NSW.
