About Danny Jared Reevell

Boeing 787 Training and Check Captain, TRI TRE (A) LIFUS, Senior Instructor at Norse Atlantic Airways. I have the responsibility and privilege of being pilot in command alongside training, examining, and mentoring new and experienced pilots. While at Norse (and Norwegian and STA), I have developed and co-developed simulator recurrent, operators conversion, type rating, command upgrade, remedial and LIFUS training programs with a strong understanding of FCL and ORO compliance. I am regularly involved in SOP development, flight operations standards, specialist remedial training and command upgrade program interviews, command course development and new commander release evaluations in both the simulator and aircraft. Current B787 Type Rating Instructor and Type Rating Examiner for both UK and EASA, Line Training Captain, LIFUS and Line Check Captain. Previous to this a CFI at a EASA Complex ATO for TRI courses, with experience in providing type ratings, rating renewals, revalidations and instructor standardisation courses. Over hours on the 787 type plus over 1500 in sim as 787 TRI TRE. I am passionate about training standards, project leadership, knowledge retention, human psychology and optimising the learning experience. My mission is to ensure the highest standards of safety, competence, professionalism and resilience among the pilots I train and mentor.
