About Danny McPeak

Hello! My name is Danny McPeak, Jr. and I love to play with computers. My current toybox contains: HTML/CSS, MySQL, S3, Lambda, Docker, Vue.JS, GoLang, Ionic + native Android/iOS development. I'm learning new things every day and always trying to find ways to apply them. I'm mostly just thankful for the opportunity to do something I enjoy! I'm dedicated, hard-working and somewhat opinionated, because I'm always looking for the perfect solution to provide the user with the best possible experience. I have in-depth experience working with and building on top of various third party APIs: Facebook/Google login Posting content to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X and Instagram Recurly billing Hubspot CRM Infusionsoft and more. I have also worked on first party internal APIs for authentication, providing content to websites & mobile apps, setting up personal profiles for users and providing localized data for users based on their local market real estate data. Most of these were written in GoLang but I have some experience with NestJS, as well. I'm also a capable leader, always learning and looking for ways to improve so that I can make better the lives of those around me. While I enjoy writing and building code, I have an even greater ambition to lead other developers to help them find the best ways to accomplish tasks, improve their coding ability and help them find satisfaction in what they do. Recent Projects: Built a Vue.js subscription-based, member area website with periodic, customizable content and educational resources for real estate professionals. This includes an internal admin site for member management and a free trial form also built with Vue.js Developed a Capacitor plugin for Ionic apps to interact with the operating system specific Camera API for iOS and Android Designed a website where Computer Science students can map out code with a flowchart builder Built an email builder for an in-house content library, the builder exports html/source code for CRMs or any popular email platform Designed and developed an Authentication API in GoLang Integrated site content with Instagram (blogs, videos, graphics), including automatic posting to the platform
