About Danny Middleton

Driven by a lifelong passion to explore the natural world, I’ve worked, lived and traveled across many remote and diverse regions of the world. From travel writing across South America—working closely with indigenous communities—to hands-on conservation in remote regions of Africa, I’ve built a career around travel, adventure, wildlife & conservation, becoming fluent in Portuguese and Spanish along the way. I spent several years living in Rio de Janeiro, discovering Brazil’s rich culture and volunteering on wildlife projects in the Pantanal. Later, I worked in Africa, specialising in lion conservation in Zimbabwe and Zambia, wildlife management in Kenya’s Masai Mara, community development in Tanzania, and dolphin conservation in Zanzibar. I then became an exploration guide in high-end luxury hotels in Chile’s most iconic wilderness areas—the Atacama Desert, Torres del Paine, and Patagonia National Park—perfecting my skills in creating immersive, unforgettable adventure experiences. Today, I design bespoke journeys across Chile and Argentina, crafting tailor-made itineraries that blend adventure, luxury, and personalised service—bringing clients closer to nature, culture, and the world’s most spectacular landscapes.
