About Danny Mitchell

I am currently working as Football Development Manager for the Club's Global Football Development (GFD) team managing the strategic growth and development of our domestic and international programmes.Our domestic programmes include Football & Education Development Centres (16-18’s), selected Private School partners (12-16’s) and Player Development Programmes (5-11’s). These programmes aim to support individual player development in order to help players at all levels maximise their potential.As part of this role I oversee the overall management and strategy of these programmes and lead on the development of our player pathways from GFD into our elite environments (Academy/Women & Girls). I am also responsible for developing content for domestic programmes and for international programmes as and when required.Alongside this role I also work as a Coach Developer for The FA delivering on the UEFA C supporting learners with their education and development as part of their completion of this qualification. I have completed my Masters degree in Sports Psychology at Brunel University, hold the UEFA B licence and FA Advanced Youth Award. I have also completed the FA Level 2 in Talent Identification.My long term aim is to complete the UEFA A Licence and a course in Sports Directorship to help support player/coach development within Elite environments.
