About Danny Snodgrass

Through my whole life I enjoyed tearing things apart and putting them back together again making them work or better than they were. When I was a teenager I helped my Dad work on cars then I did a lot of work on my own car, After high school I started in the U.S. Coast guard not sure what I wanted to do in life. An opportunity came up to be a subsistence specialist and being young I took the opportunity that it showed me to advance quick and make money quick. I learned the value of prep work and then as I made rank and was the FSO I learned all about budgets and inventory which I use to this day. After 8 years I got out and was working production at a window plant in Yakima and was board, so I took an electronics course because I was extremely interested in radios. That lead me into maintenance where using the skills I had developed became the person in charge of the maintenance department in 3 different facilities in the past 30 years. I still enjoy home projects working on cars and boats and fishing. Being away from Washington state and family for the 8 years has made me appreciate home and this is the reason I do not wish to leave Yakima.
