About Danny Spicer

I started out my working life in a greeting card factory, then progressing to a document scanning bureau for a small local business for 5 years managing the operations side of this small business. After this I started in the motor trade industry at Motorpoint for 7 years progressing to a business support supervisor managing a team of 3 along with mentoring an apprentice, whilst completing a full 3 year talent management programme and becoming a qualified coach, when I also started and achieved my level 2 & 3 AAT qualifications. I then worked for a local housing association within the finance function as an Accounts Payable officer, before progressing to Assistant accountant. Following this, I worked in the insurance industry as an Assistant Management Accountant and of late, I now operate as a Management Accountant for a large housing association, fostering business partnering relationships with stakeholders and meeting on a monthly basis, providing analysis and adding value. I have gained vast amounts of experience in forecasting and budgeting aswell as undertaking the month end process and reviewing work completed by the finance officers whilst managing their personal development and supporting the year end and audit process. After completing my level 4 AAT studies attaining MAAT,AATQB status and completing my CIMA professional studies I am now a fully qualified chartered accountant. I believe in hard work in life and like to earn my way and rewards through my own merits. Always remember to treat people the way you would like to be treated.
