About Danny Tsoi

Edwards Deming I have over a decade of experience from leading IT projects with a focus on resolving network outages and maintaining infrastructure, to developing new services improving care management and youth mental health, and conducting data analysis for public policy and regulation. I am passionate about developing innovative solutions to improve health outcomes and co-founded two early-stage startups, dawaCare and FloraMind. dawaCare is focused on developing new solutions to improve patient care in developing countries through better follow-up and care management. FloraMind is a social enterprise developing and delivering culturally relevant mental health education. I enjoy co-designing appropriate evidence-driven solutions with organizations focused on social impact and equitable systems change. I am looking forward to opportunities that includes applying human-centered design, data science, mixed methods, and behavioral science to improve policy design and the delivery of health and social services. Specific policy interests include health equity, risk-adjustment methods, payment policy, and exploring new mechanisms for improving social determinants of health.
