About Danny Vijsma

As an experienced Facility Management professional, I believe that the true value of workplace services lies in the people they serve. In my current role as Head of Facility Management, Procurement & Business Continuity at BNP Paribas Netherlands, I lead a dedicated team responsible for creating smart, safe, and sustainable office environments that feel like a great place to be—for every employee who walks through our doors. With over 25 years of experience, I combine strategic oversight with hands-on leadership across the full facility spectrum: from procurement, maintenance, HSE and energy management to large-scale workplace transitions. Together with my team, I focus on delivering optimal conditions, seamless services, and cost-conscious solutions that enhance performance, experience, and brand identity. I am passionate about collaboration—internally and with vendors—and thrive in environments where facility management is seen as a strategic enabler of business continuity and employee engagement. Core strengths: • Integrated Facility Management (IFM) • Strategic Procurement & Cost Control • Climate & Comfort Optimization • Workplace Experience & Hospitality • Health, Safety & Sustainability (HSE) • Office Relocation & Transformation • Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
