About Dante Algabre

I am currently the AVP / Division Head of the Business Transformation and Technology Division of First Metro Securities Brokerage, an FMIC / Metrobank sub. I am an ITIL V3 certified professional and have used this to lay out the foundations of Service Management in Toyota. I, with my team, have established the standards for several key areas such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management that govern our current IT operations. I and my team's responsibility is to ensure that all systems are running and should incidents arise, restore services and provide resolution at the earliest possible time. I have also 10+ years of experience in project management implementing multi-million Pesos projects covering software and hardware projects. I was also blessed to having been able to work with multicultural teams from across Asia. I take pride in being able to implement the first 100-million project of our Department. In terms of team management, I have handled a pool of 14 talented individuals from PMs, to analysts, to programmers. I take pride in having been able to develop leaders from my team as well as competent technical specialists. I ensure that each of my team members are treated individually and as such, I map out their career path unique to each of their skills, interest, and aspirations.
