About Dante Williams

I was born in Mississippi, but because my father served in the U.S. Air Force, much of my early life was spent moving from place to place. Eventually, my family settled in Warner Robins, Georgia, where I grew up before heading to Statesboro to attend Georgia Southern University, where I met my future wife. In 2011 while in school, I started volunteering with the Statesboro Fire Department and Bulloch County Fire Department—a role I still proudly serve in today. In 2015, I followed my passion for service and joined the Georgia State Patrol. A few years later, in 2018, I returned to Statesboro, where life took an exciting turn—I married my wife Andrea in December of 2020 and we began our life together. Later in my career, while serving as a the Assistant Post Commander of Post 42 Rincon with the Georgia State Patrol, I was hit by a drunk driver and sustained a back injury. That moment changed everything for me. It forced me to pause, reflect, and think deeply about the future I wanted. I realized that while public safety had given me purpose, I also had a passion for helping people in another way—through financial guidance. That realization led me to become a Financial Advisor with Thrivent, where I began my career in finance. Today, I’m proud to continue that mission at Raymond James, a place where my values and vision for serving others truly align. What excites me most about this new chapter is the opportunity to walk alongside families and business owners as they work toward their goals. I know firsthand how important it is to feel secure about the future, and I want to help others experience that same peace of mind. For me, it’s not just about numbers—it’s about people, their stories, and the dreams they’re striving to achieve. Being able to play a part in that journey is what makes this work deeply meaningful.
