About Dany Moreno

I am a very experienced, certified and vocational teacher who has taught in many different environments and on different levels at public and private schools as well as within adult education with experience in the videogame market specialised in technical support leading a team of engineers in Gilead where I have been working since 2013. I am going to describe some of the key project that I have been working in the last years in Gilead/Kite. I have developed a LMS (Moodle) site for the Service Desk in Gilead Sciences for Westbourne IT Global Solutions, renewing the existing materials, creating and improving eLearning courses, with stats, reports from the site and the feedbacks provided by the agents. I founded a Training Department for the Gilead Enterprise Service Desk, and in so doing I have improved the training process both for new employees, reducing the overall training period, and for more qualified agents alike. Equally I oversaw the renewal of existing training material through the feedback provided by agents and from QA analysis. During my previous work experience working HR has been part of my daily duties. In my previous role I was part of recruiting process, Onboarding, new starter reports, PIP, etc. When I was transferred to Kite Amsterdam, I was a key stakeholder to setup the Onboarding process working with HRBP team when they did not have any representatives onsite. With a goal oriented and enthusiastic team I can improve training systems to drive better and sustained results. I have also benefited from the background I acquired through my studies, professional activities and my from managing my own company (M&D Academies) and my experience as Manager and L&D Lead Westbourne IT Global Solutions. One of my recent projects in my current position, is to create a training plan (best IT practices) for business and Lab users where we are aiming to improve some issues due to lack of information/knowledge that are impacting the manufacturing operations.
