Khalil Daoud is a seasoned CEO/Chairman with 4 decades of experience, leading businesses across the FMCG, logistics, financial services, and luxury industries. He has a strong track record in strategic transformation, governance setting and performance turnaround. Khalil’s values-based leadership has been acknowledged by: the Schwab Foundation in New York, under the World Economic Summit, as “Corporate Social Intrapreneur for the Year 2019”, in appreciation of his efforts in “Developing new sustainable models for business, human development & environmental initiatives, and supporting an ecosystem of social innovation to accelerate the world’s collective progress” the Postal community in 2019 when he was awarded the “Industry Leadership” prize as a crowning for his “Exemplary leadership in advancing the mail, parcels & express industry, and for having a long and sustained record of success in fulfilling the organization’s mission” the United Nations In 2018, when he was awarded the “United Nations Global Compact SDG Pioneer” in recognition for his contribution to “Gender Parity and Economic Inclusion” Daoud was recently appointed as CEO at Fattal Group, one of the largest and most diversified leading distributors across the region. Prior to this role, he spent 20 years as Chairman of the Board and CEO at LibanPost, successfully leading the cultural transformation and business turnaround of the company from a public 'state-run' administration to a privately owned world-class postal operator across Lebanon. Under his tenure, LibanPost has witnessed top & bottom line growth through capacity-building plans, digital transformation, and the creation of a highly effective customer focused operating model, while instilling a culture of compliance and unyielding integrity. Khalil also serves on a number of advisory boards: Owner representative at Brasserie Almaza since 2022 Chairman of CashUnited since 2013 (main distributor of MoneyGram) Non-executive Director at Assurex, a leading insurance company in Lebanon Advisory Board of the Faculty of Business & Management at Saint Joseph University (USJ) Vice-Chairman of the Board of the Postal Union for the Mediterranean (PUMed), a restricted union under the Universal Postal Union, after being Chairman from 2016 to 2019 Board Member of the Institut de Prospective Economique du Monde Méditerranéen (IPEMED) since 2016 & Chairman since December 2017 Prior to joining LibanPost, Daoud held regional leadership positions with Gillette (now part of P&G), SMH as well as the Debbas Group.
