About Daphne de Groot

It’s funny how our dreams point us in one direction - and sometimes lead us on a journey beyond what we ever expected. From the time I was a child I wanted to be a Veterinarian. I studied Marine Biology and in reality - I didn’t feel that I was living my full potential. I’ve always been a creative, out of the box thinker - an entrepreneur at heart. Being trapped inside the 4 walls of a clinic was not making the most of this. I’m a people person - I thrive in interactions, conversations, negotiations. I knew there was another direction for me. I Co-Founded a highly successful Residential Real Estate Development Company in North America where I'm responsible for Business Development - analyzing the market, the deals, negotiations, managing relationships with vendors and service providers and making sure every base was covered in the deals we were working on. The credo I live by - “The goal is not to be better than the other man, but your previous self.” - Dalai Lama. I’m always striving to learn more, be better at what I do professionally and a better person - that’s the way I feel I can truly make a difference.
