I am an experienced and knowledgeable professional in the field of international education. With a background in Linguistics and the teaching of English as a Foreign Language my career included 15 years in Higher Education mangement, especially focsuing on internaitonal partnership development and course design and development. I now work extensively with the internaitonal healthcare sector as independent consultant for linguistic, comjunication and cultural developments and solutions.I build connections between people, systems and institutions; always with the objective of enhancing and improving structures and communication and of building understanding so that meaningful and productive outcomes can be achieved. My work involves applying significant leadership skills, sector knowledge and commercial acumen to each situation to ensure cohesion and full comprehension of strategic objectives and vision. I am politically and culturally astute and capable of managing communications with diverse groups of stakeholders. I have influenced major decisions across multiple teams and I continually surpass individual and organisational targets.I have a proven record in teaching, leading and developing Educational strategy, building quality into international partnerships worldwide and facilitating positive change. I have a track record of research outputs investigating the lived working experience of professionals in the healthcare sector; working towards developing models that facilitate a sense of belonging and integration for the whole workforce. Alongside this, I continue linguistic based contracts including the evaluation and design of international language programmes including the implementation of improved Quality Assurance controls. I always demand excellence from myself and bringout the best in those I work with, aiming to inspire, motivate and engage at all levels.
