About Daphne Sandouka

Daphne Sandouka, Ed.D, LCPC is the Chief Executive Officer for Ecker Center for Behavioral Health. She is responsible for leading the development and execution of short and long-term strategic plans for the organization. Her vision is the integration of comprehensive programming and the organization-wide expansion of behavioral health services with a focus on multicultural populations. In 2020, she completed a full merger between Renz Center and the Ecker Center which added substance use, HIV prevention and education, gambling and addiction prevention to the organization’s array of behavioral health services. Daphne graduated from Eastern Illinois University in with a BA in Psychology. In 2001, she earned her MS in Counselor Education from Western Illinois University followed by her Ed.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Northern Illinois University in 2007. She is Licensed as a LCPC and is a graduate of the Elgin Area Leadership Academy in 2019. In addition, she is recognized as a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team Member and is licensed to provide facilitation, speaking, coaching, and training on Maxwell leadership personal and professional development content. Dr. Daphne Sandouka is devoted to applying her knowledge and expertise in order to fulfill Ecker’s mission to optimize the well-being of individuals and communities.
