About Dara Anderson

Dara Morehouse is originally from Glasgow, Montana where her family owns a sporting goods store, D&G Sports and Western. She graduated from the University of North Dakota with a BBA in Business Economics and a Masters of Science in Applied Economics in December 2016. While Dara was in school, she served as the Managing Director of Information Technology and Operations for Dakota Venture Group – a student run venture capital investment fund, was a member of the College of Business and Public Administration Student Advisory Board (BPAC), Phi Beta Lambda, and Alpha Kappa Psi.While pursuing her degree at UND, she worked for the College of Engineering and Mines in the Office of the Dean, Office of Student Experience & Outreach, and Distance Engineering Degree Program Office, and the College of Business & Public Administration as a Graduate Student Assistant for the Economics department. The first three summers of college Dara worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Dara has also participated in an internship her senior year of college with Specialisterne Midwest (Mindshift), a non-profit helping people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to become consultants in detail-rich tasks in the IT field. After she graduated, she returned to her alma mater to work as a data analyst for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and part-time instructor for the Economics Department. She currently works as a financial analyst for the Office of Resource Planning & Allocation at UND.
