About Dara Davison
I am a postdoctoral research fellow in virology with the Towers lab at UCL. I am currently working on HIV and gene therapy projects. Previously, after my undergraduate and masters training in chemistry, I worked towards a PhD in the field of parasitology. My project used chemical biology techniques such as activity based protein profiling (ABPP) and quantitative proteomics to elucidate new drug targets in the malaria-causing parasite plasmodium falciparum.
