About Dara Hirsch

Dara Hirsch is a NYC-based audiophile. Her focus is in production, composition, sound design, mixing, and editing. Her musical background supplements her innovative nature and ability to create more than just sound. She is a drummer, guitarist and violinist, and works with a variety of other instruments. Her studies in Audio Production and Music Performance have acted as a vehicle to her audio freelance work. Dara has worked with internationally-acclaimed producers, companies, and composers. She has written music for an award-winning documentary in addition to an internationally broadcasted commercial. Her current projects include scoring for a feature-length documentary and audiobook editing. Applications include music composition and sound design for commercials, film, promotional videos, and other media. Mixing, production and arrangements for artists' records, and mixing for film are also included.
