Certified Project Management Professional working in a fast paced role where I act as an intermediary between the Operations and IT Development teams. I am project managing a number of strategic initiatives for the group and this responsibility requires that I put my PMP accreditation to good use. The role is varied and covers a multitude of tasks. Previously, I worked in a client facing role, dealing with hedge fund managers and various stakeholders in the hedge fund industry. I worked in hedge fund accounting and serviced a broad range of clients. Before this, I worked as Senior manager of a large operations team (approx. 70 people) for 5 years. In this capacity I was responsible for the smooth running of the operations team as well as being at the forefront of developing and enhancing the operations model of the business. This role taught me a lot about core management disciplines and I gained a lot from this position. I have also worked in settlements and the secondary market for trade finance contracts.
