About Darartu Shafi

Upon graduating from CSU I took a year to do volunteer and community organization work, later I transitioned to working for a start-up cooperative taxi company. During my time there I polished on my management and organizational skills. After a year of working for Green Taxi, I wanted to work for a larger company because I felt limited. This leads me to take a job offer with Transamerica as a retirement customer care agent. There I was trained on the various retirement products, investment options, and regulatory requirements. Further realized that financial service is the field I wanted to pursue my career. After working for a year at Transamerica I was promoted to team lead, I am currently fortunate to coach, develop, and lead a team of retirement specialists.
