For the last 10 yrs I have been a Program Coordinator in the Northwest Region for MNBC. I have experience with Metis clients that are seeking education in the trades, college, university, and short tickets to help with their employment opportunity. As well I provide referrals to other agencies with in the community which helps in their career goals.I partner with training institutes, unions, government, First Nation, and other employment and training offices to find funding to develop programs that will suit our local labour market demand. Employer partners are very important to our office in the Northwest as they provide employment and mentor our trades and short ticket clients in there initial stages of there employment. We have a target wage subsidy that is provided to our industry partners to help provide proper mentorship to our clients.
