About Darcy A. Johnson

My path in the insurance industry began in 1993, the Monday after finishing university exams nonetheless. I’ve been privileged to work with some amazing people and to enjoy a job that I truly have a passion for in the mutual insurance industry for a number of years! I have enjoyed various aspects of the business including that of a broker and agent with hands on experience of the sales & service required. Learning how best to meet the changing needs of the customer provided great insight as I moved into managing the Erie Mutual team of agents and customer service reps from 2012-2022. Shifts to involve both marketing and business development allowed me to fully development a plan of reaching our community, our customers and our potential prospects. In all, I have been involved in many areas of the business from strategic planning, budgeting, training and mentoring, and leading various projects from planning to implementation and measuring our success. I am always excited to tackle new challenges!
