I have worked at PF Changs for twelve years and was promoted from server, to trainer, to lead employee, to Manager based on consistent, exemplary job performance. I have been a front of the house manager in charge of 30 servers for the last six years. I am responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, scheduling, counseling, and disciplining employees. I have strong hospitality and guest service skills and maintain relationships with customers and staff. I resolve customer complaints about quality of service and food in a professional manner and effectively communicate under high volume and high pressure situations. Along with the customer/staff interaction I also prepare cash drawers, nightly deposits, take care of monetary responsibilities and calculate and record daily sales and labor numbers. I have six months experience as a beverage manager and was responsible for ordering, stocking, and managing all alcoholic beverages in the restaurant. I have taken the initiative to market our restaurant to the surrounding community, arrange for the maintenance and repair of equipment and am accountable for ordering inventory including uniforms, training materials, and restaurant supplies. I am ServSafe and ServSafe Alcohol certified.
