About Darcy Phillips

I am a Customer Engagement Manager at BecomingX, a learning and development company co-founded by Bear Grylls and Paul Gurney that aims to create a world where everyone can realise their potential, no matter what their starting point in life. We work with some of the world’s most inspirational and iconic people to help demystify what it takes to succeed and to help build confidence and skills. The work we do includes leadership programmes and personal development training for corporates, digital learning content for schools, films and major social impact projects. A particularly special part of the role for me is the work we do to help serve disadvantaged communities globally, which is something I am incredibly passionate about. Prior to BecomingX I worked as a Marketing Executive at SCI, a charity helping scientists propel their work out of the lab into industry. I am ambitious, empathetic and enjoy meeting new people. Outside of work I love dance and performing, having trained in ballet, tap and jazz from a very young age and continuing that passion throughout university and beyond.
