With over 27 years of experience in the forest products industry, I am a passionate and dedicated fiber specialist who strives to optimize the fiber supply and procurement for International Paper, the world's leading producer of renewable fiber-based packaging, pulp, and paper. I have a strong background in forest management, harvesting, and acquisition, and I am committed to ensuring the sustainability and quality of the fiber resources. I value collaboration, innovation, and customer satisfaction, and I enjoy working with a diverse and talented team of professionals who share the same vision and mission. As a fiber specialist at International Paper, I manage all Orange Mill roundwood purchasing, overseeing the acquisition, inventory, and fiber flow of over 1.6 million tons of wood per year. I am responsible for negotiating and managing wood supply agreements, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards, and coordinating with the mill operations and logistics teams. I leverage my skills in continuous improvement, supply chain, and purchasing to deliver cost-effective and efficient solutions that meet the needs and expectations of the mill and the customers.
