About Darena Herschler

During my job as a research assistant I gained experience in developing a survey tool for the Nonprofit organization Kids on Bikes. Along with creating this tool, I also became experienced in excel, data analysis and evaluation. With the research I engaged in, I became experienced in formulating poster presentations and in interpersonal communication through presenting these posters at international and local conferences. Increasing my organizational skills of sensitive information, such as surveys, Microsoft and Excel files is another skill that I am proficient in. Generating and typing up professional reports along with creating videos for a professional website are some more examples of my job duties as a research assistant. During my college experience, I have achieved practice with working in groups and developing problem solving skills. I am proficient in multitasking and meeting strict deadlines, such as writing papers and working on projects. I have engaged in internship hours which included gathering research and writing a literature review which provided me with experience in collecting correct and useful research and successfully summarizing the information.
