I've always had a burning passion for healthcare and a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives. With a solid background in healthcare and science-based courses, I embarked on a journey to become a future healthcare professional. I've been fortunate to gain invaluable experience in various healthcare settings throughout my career. As a Nursing Assistant II at Orlando Health, I had the privilege of providing compassionate patient care while also receiving advanced medical training. I embraced every opportunity to contribute to patients' well-being. Prior to that, I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Life Care Center of Orlando, where I nurtured my skills in attentive and aseptic patient care. Assisting patients with daily activities like ambulating, showering, dressing, and feeding, I discovered the profound impact small acts of kindness could have on someone's day. But my journey doesn't stop there. I've also ventured into administrative roles, such as an Office Assistant at Starboard Yacht Group and a Front Desk Coordinator at Shepherd's Hope Health Center. These experiences honed my organizational skills and taught me the importance of effective communication in maintaining smooth operations within healthcare settings. Beyond the professional realm, I've actively engaged in non-paid work experiences, including serving as the Secretary for the Nicholas Dworet Memorial Fund Inc, a charity organization. Coordinating board meetings, organizing records of donations, and contributing to Swim4Nick events, I experienced the power of collective efforts in bringing about positive change. I'm proud to hold certifications such as BLS, HIPAA, and CPR/AED, which further strengthen my commitment to providing high-quality care. Moreover, my fluency in English and Spanish has allowed me to effectively communicate with diverse patients and provide support in their preferred language. Throughout my journey, I've been recognized for my academic achievements, including being listed on the UCF Dean's List and receiving the UCF Scholars Award. These honors serve as a testament to my dedication and unwavering pursuit of excellence.
