A high-achieving honors HR student at Baruch College, I am passionate about informing the local community about political, environmental, and art news and assisting students in achieving their personal and professional goals. As a copy editor and a contributing writer at The Ticker, a Baruch newspaper, I demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, AP style proficiency, and attention to detail by executing informational interviews, authoring comprehensive articles, and proofreading opinions and news pieces weekly. Additionally, as a Development and Rotations intern manager at Baruch Collegiate Association of Women in Business, I exhibit advanced interpersonal, time management, and event organization skills by conducting bi-weekly check-ins with 3 interns, reporting their progress and program involvement to the VP, and co-leading in-person and virtual committee events. My previous experience involves working as a seasonal lifeguard at a recreational facility in Pennsylvania, where I collaborated with the aquatic facility personnel to provide first aid to 20+ patrons, respond to several medical emergencies, oversee large-scale events, and teach 10 children fundamental swimming skills. In my free time, I enjoy doing sports, exploring art galleries, attending theatrical performances, and engaging in youth activism.
