About Daria Hunter

As a Project Manager at TIAA-CREF, I have had the opportunity to manage many projects in my multiple years at TIAA, including a model to be used by C-Suite leaders that visualizes budgets and project status across the organization, as well as a Bias Detection Tool that tests model data output and informs the data scientist of their position regarding Bias in relationship to regulatory standards. The ability to manage these projects includes a plethora of skillsets needed, like the ability to understand the terminologies of technology and information systems as well as the ability to communicate to people respectfully and fairly and in a way that motivates them! I take pride in my goal to constantly sharpen my leadership and communication skills in a way that can be universally understood in my career within Management. It is an always present aspiration to implement all of these skills to meet the goals of the organization. I am a proud Rutgers Graduate, and HLLC member who graduated with a major in Business Management Information Systems and minor in Social Justice. My degree and minor encompasses four parts, Management, Business, Technology through Information Systems, and People-focused Social Justice. Many elements are used from these four to Project Manage to the best of my abilities. I take great honor in what I do. I look forward to acquiring more knowledge, experience, and skills throughout my career and I am always thankful for any opportunity that allows me to do so.
