As team lead, I focus on establishing a workflow that encourages the team to constantly grow their test analysis and risk evaluation skills, independence, and professional confidence. I achieve this through careful selection of tasks control, results evaluation and feedback, challenging the team to make them take their own decisions and prove them. What do I do as team lead- plan and control of team work; provide feedback by tasks- onboard and mentor- evaluate performance of team members, prepare personal development plans for them- hire: review resumes, run interviews, create and evaluating home tasks, recommend how to proceed with candidate. What I do as QA engineer- run requirement analysis, create and support test documentation (test plans, test executions, tests, how-to articles)- execute tests, create defect reports- evaluate risks, make suggestions how to decrease or mitigate them- present functionality on Demo meetings; run Demo meeting- handle feedback form Client’s team- investigate incidents on production system.
