About Daria Temirkaeva

I am an University of Toronto alumna, with an HBA Specialist in Architectural Studies and a Major in Political Science. I am eager to apply my passion for politics and public affairs with my understanding of community-driven solutions, communication skills, and creative leadership. Through my current position at Canada’s Podium, I help organize events that highlight the intersection of politics, business, and media, and bring about conversations that matter to Canadians. From the first-hand account of leaders, I understand the nuance of these relationships and the ecosystem it takes for them to thrive. I am ready to build on the relationship between the government and private sector with my unique perspective as a young, passionate public affairs and communications professional. Adaptable in the workplace, I’m eager to rise to the challenge of a high-stakes work environment. Professionally, I look to develop my skills in the public affairs consulting and communications sector. I am passionate about women’s empowerment, politics, pop culture, reading, travel, and learning new skills- I hope to never stop.
