It is the most amazing feeling when you realize that everything you worked your butt of for has paid off! Following Gods direction and working those16 hour days and yes missing those special occasions sometimes because your loyal and dedicated to your craft! I am so glad that I sought out those experienced folks and asked for their advice over the years. The generations before us has so much wisdom to offer! Listen and ask.remember history will repeat itself if you don’t learn and react! It has been my experience that hard work and the willingness to learn and improve upon myself has made me a better all around person and manager of time and people. The ability to be flexible and make decisions on the move is what has in part added to my success as a manager of both. Price and schedule drive the construction industry as you may know. Motivating & Managing a team of mixed skill levels to include 20,30 and 40 year folks to improve upon processes put in place 30 years ago is a leadership skill, but to leverage those aspects and at a industry high level of quality is what sets us apart.
