Working at Connected Development on IoT M2M areas for LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA, EVDO, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, BLE, LoRa, OTA, PTCRB, CE, and operator approvals. Previously worked at BlackBerry,(Research In Motion) starting with the building of a team and site in NC for the first TD-SCDMA product, and now responsible for Radio development, Operating System, Embedded Software, Factory Calibration, and Verification (Pre-Certification, Wi-Fi, and Inter-operability) for Certain BlackBerry products in the market. Prior to BlackBerry, I worked in radio related areas including, land mobile radio, cellular base stations, and cellular phone platforms at Ericsson. My primary experience is in radio access stack, radio characteristics, FCC, and 3GPP type approval. I managed these same areas after working as radio characteristics and regulatory engineer. Automation of testing activities to build new development test cases for new functionality, and regression test suits for ongoing compliance is also a large portion of the responsibilities. Responsible for lab functions and strategy for test equipment for the network stack department. Working with equipment vendors to ensure coverage of new areas under development is also part of the responsibilities. Work in a functional global development test group covering GSM, GPRS, EGPRS, EGPRS evo, WCDMA, HSPA, HSPA+, and LTE.
