About Darin Kishore

As a Computer Science postgraduate from Emory University, I specialize in AI research and Natural Language Processing. I'm passionate about leveraging technology to improve human communication and well-being. At Emory NLP Lab, I designed and developed a state-of-the-art generation-based crisis detection AI model that achieved a 92% success rate in identifying all levels of crisis behaviors in dialogue. I'm leading the integration of this model into Emora, the Emory Student chatbot, ensuring secure data management and robust crisis-referral mechanisms. At Farmers Insurance, I implemented Dynamic Type on the login screen, which enhanced user experience and accessibility for 63% of iOS users. I also developed and implemented a comprehensive pipeline for automated PR review and unit test generation, enabling 100% coverage of enterprise codebases and faster feedback cycles. In addition to my academic and professional pursuits, I'm an entrepreneur at heart. I founded Punctuation Keyboards, a venture where I designed keyboards and keycaps, honing my technical and business skills. My goal is to continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible in AI and use my entrepreneurial spirit to bring innovative solutions to market.
