About Darin Schade

As a banking and finance professional I have experience across multiple aspects of the industry including strategy, operations, program delivery, governance and compliance. While having worked across various domains including international and business banking, much of my key experience and expertise is in cards and payments. With technology having a greater impact on this area than ever before, it is an exciting time to be working in this field. Starting my career as a Business Systems Analyst, I moved from technical to more business oriented roles across marketing and line of business management. In more recent years I have been working in program delivery for a variety of financial services institutions, including CUA, NAB, and Bendigo Bank. My approach to project delivery is to work with stakeholders to define requirements that are outcome focused rather than work towards an abstract set of technical outputs, ensuring that commercial expectations are fulfilled. In 2018 I extended my experience into the education domain, establishing a pracitce providing compliance services to early learning institutions. Outside of work, my interests involve a number of community based programs, including committee membership of the East Melbourne Group and standing for the seat of Melbourne as the endorsed Liberal Party candidate in the 2018 Victorian State election.
