Background

About Dario Colazzo

I am currently a full Professor in Computer Science at University Paris Dauphine, PSL, in the LAMSADE laboratory. Since 2016 I am Adjunct Professor (part-time) at Ecole Polytechnique. Since 2018, I am Director of the Executive Master IASD - Université Paris Dauphine research and teaching activities are in the context of efficient processing of massive semi-structured datasets, mainly relying on shared-nothing parallelism, distribution and streaming (Hadoop, Spark, Flink.). I am particularly interested in formal aspects and applications of static analysis techniques for processing massive graph and JSON data. Currently I am working on the following projects- Schema inference for massive JSON data sets- Pre-filtering techniques for context-aware recommender systems- Incremental saturation of massive RDF data- Static analysis for compiling Cypher queries over Spark and Flink- Type systems for graph databases and queries. My list of publications is available here : https://dblp.uni-trier.de/pers/hd/c/Colazzo:DarioI have recently given the following talks - CBPF: Leveraging Context and Content Information for Better Recommendations, at ADMA'18, Nanjing. Joint work with Zahra Vahidi Ferdousi and Elsa Negre- Linear Time Membership in a Class of Regular Expressions with Counting, Interleaving and Unordered Concatenation, at both ENS Paris and LABRI Bordeaux, 2018. Joint work with Giorgio Ghelli and Carlo Sartiani- From batch to streaming processing of massive data, at MicroAndBig school, https://microandbig.sciencesconf.org, 2018. I have recently served/will serve as PC member of the following international conferences: EDBT'20, WISE'19,IJCAI'19, EDBT'19, VLDB'18, EDBT'17, SIGMOD'17-16-15, PODS'14, ICDE'12, EDBT'10.
